Prize List Available for Silver Oak Jumper Tournament Fabulous Dinner Cruise Announced

Halifax, MA – April 7, 2014 – The Silver Oak Jumper Tournament announced today that the prize list for this year’s event is now available online. The show, last year based in New Hampshire, is making the move to the beautiful permanent facilities at Fieldstone Show Park, just 28 miles south of Boston. The popular event is scheduled from August 13 – 17, 2014. The feature class, the $75,000 Agero Grand Prix will be held on the final Sunday, August 17th, along with the 1.35m Mini Prix that day, all exclusively on center stage in the beautiful grass grand prix field.

The Silver Oak Jumper Tournament, which met with rave reviews from competitors across the country, was rewarded for its first year efforts with a top ranking from the NARG, the North American Riders Group. The NARG report stated, “Hats off to Silver Oak Jumper Tournament Chairman Jeffrey Papows and his team, including Show Manager Mike Belisle, for producing a fantastic event.  With a widespread focus on riders, horses, sponsors and spectators, they truly went overboard in this inaugural year.”

“We’re thrilled that NARG recognized the effort we put forth to make sure we lived up to our claim of being ‘the rider’s show,’ said Show Chairman Jeff Papows when the rankings were released. “It is very rewarding when your hard work is recognized by the best in the sport.”

The NARG report stated, “Seems the Silver Oak Jumper Tournament is gearing up to be all that NARG seeks in a superior event, and we look forward to year two.”

“I assure you that my efforts will continue to be differentiated by the quality of details that competitors enjoyed last year and more,” Papows said. “No effort will be spared and our riders will enjoy an even more unique experience in 2014.”

“Jeff runs one of my favorite horse shows, there are big crowds of spectators, top course designers and I love the way he caters to all of us,” said two-time Olympic Gold Medalist McLain Ward.

“I think it’s the nicest show I’ve ever been to, really.” Added last year’s grand prix winner, Ireland’s Paul O’Shea.

Part of that unique experience that Papows spoke of is an all-new dinner cruise for all competitors, families and friends. The entire evening is complimentary, courtesy of the Silver Oak Jumper Tournament. A buffet dinner will be served with music and a cash bar. The boat will cruise Plymouth Harbor past some scenic historical sites including Plymouth Rock and includes a beautiful sunset while onboard.

The cruise is scheduled Friday, August 15, 2014 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. Transportation will be provided from your hotel to and from the dock at no cost.

Through two sets of lights to a blinking light, bear left on to Rte 27-106. Travel about one mile to set of lights and fork. Take left at fork onto Rte 106. Fieldstone Farm is approximately 5 miles on the right in Halifax, MA.
From the West: Rte 495 to Rte 24 North. First exit Rte 104 and head east. Rte 104 merges with Rte 106. Cross over Rte 58 in Halifax Center. Fieldstone Farm is 1.2 miles on the left.
