Greenberg Traurig To Sponsor the Babington Benefit Classic

Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm  with a dedicated equestrian legal team, will sponsor the Babington Benefit Classic. Proceeds from the Classic will help Kevin Babington on his road to recovery.

“We at Silver Oak are proud of our initiative with Greenberg Traurig’s Equine Industry Group and the role they continue to play in our broad efforts to support the Babington Family Trust, and the sport,” said Founder and Chairman Jeff Papows.  “I have worked extensively with this group and senior shareholders who have tirelessly addressed numerous legal needs, from trademarks to more complex matters, on behalf of the Babington family,” said Founder and Chairman Jeff Papows. “Kevin’s medical needs are perpetual and extensive.  The therapy and surgical intervention he endures are a testament to his tenacity, courage, and an inspiration to all of us.”

“The Greenberg Traurig (GT) Equine Industry Group stands behind Jeff, the Silver Oak Tournament, and the Babington family, in their determination to aid in his recovery and continued involvement in the sport,” said Mike Nicodema, GT’s Equine Industry founding member and shareholder.

“The support of Silver Oak and partners like Greenberg Traurig have been a godsend to our family,” said Dianna Babington.  “The way the sport, part of our broader family, has rallied to our sides is both heartwarming and a comfort to Kevin, me, and our girls.”

Join us this September in Traverse City, Michigan. What a month we have in store for you this year! We have a CSI 3* schedule followed by the American Gold Cup and CSI 5* program.  Last year, the participation in Kevin’s class was amazing with the top riders, amateurs, and everybody on the show grounds becoming a part of this heartwarming and vital experience.
